ANTGLASS provides custom glass fabrication for drawing-based optical, electronic, sensor, laboratory and industrial components. We manufacture precision glass parts from sheets, plates, tubes, rods, wafers, discs and optical blanks, then complete the required cutting, CNC machining, drilling, grinding, polishing, cleaning and inspection in one controlled route.
The service is designed for buyers who need a glass processing factory rather than an off-the-shelf glass product. Each project is built around the finished component: its material, geometry, optical or cosmetic surfaces, mounting method, operating environment and acceptance criteria.
Custom Precision Glass Components We Manufacture
Common component forms
- Precision optical glass windows and sensor covers
- Glass cover plates, substrates and coating blanks
- Glass discs, rings and spacers

- Prisms, filter components and custom-shaped precision glass parts
Machined features
- External profiles, internal cut-outs and irregular contours
- Through holes, countersinks, slots, notches and access features
- Chamfers, bevels, ground edges and polished edges
- Surface-ground, lapped or optically polished functional areas
- Cleaned and protected surfaces for coating, bonding or assembly
Material Options for Custom Technical Glass
ANTGLASS supplies and processes borosilicate glass materials for heat and chemical resistance, fused silica and quartz glass for UV, laser and high-temperature applications, and optical crown and flint glass for windows, prisms and imaging components. Aluminosilicate, alkali-free, filter, low-expansion and infrared materials are also manufactured into custom parts.
Material selection is connected to the finished drawing. A grade with the right optical or thermal properties must also be available in a suitable thickness and supply form, and it must support the required edge, surface, hole and cleaning conditions.
Integrated Glass Fabrication Route
- Review the drawing, assembly function, operating environment and quantity.
- Select the glass family, grade, thickness and starting form.
- Plan custom glass cutting, CNC glass machining and glass drilling in the correct sequence.
- Finish edges and functional surfaces by grinding, beveling, lapping or polishing.
- Inspect dimensions, feature positions, edge condition, surface condition and cleanliness.
- Clean, label and pack the parts for coating, assembly or direct installation.
Design Rules That Improve Manufacturability
- Identify the functional, optical and cosmetic zones on the drawing.
- Define the datum system for holes, slots, profiles and mounting features.
- Use practical corner radii and edge distances around holes and narrow bridges.
- State whether edges are as-cut, ground, chamfered, beveled or polished.
- Separate critical tolerances from non-critical dimensions so inspection follows the actual assembly risk.
- Specify coating masks, bonding areas, cleaning level and packaging orientation before production.
Inspection and Production Release
ANTGLASS inspection follows the drawing and the function of the component. Dimensional inspection can cover overall size, thickness, hole and slot position, profile geometry, flatness, parallelism and feature spacing. Visual and surface inspection can cover edge chips, cracks, scratches, digs, stains, residue and defined cosmetic zones. First-article approval establishes the reference for repeat production.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which glass materials can ANTGLASS fabricate?
ANTGLASS fabricates borosilicate glass, fused silica and quartz glass, optical crown and flint glass, aluminosilicate glass, alkali-free glass, filter glass and other specialty optical materials. The selected grade is matched to the optical, thermal, chemical and mechanical requirements of the finished component.
Can one part combine cutting, CNC machining, drilling and polishing?
Yes. ANTGLASS builds one manufacturing route that can combine blank cutting, CNC contour machining, holes, slots, notches, chamfers, edge grinding, edge polishing, surface grinding, lapping, optical polishing, ultrasonic cleaning and protected packing.
Does ANTGLASS manufacture both prototypes and production quantities?
Yes. ANTGLASS manufactures engineering samples, prototypes, small batches and repeat production orders. The drawing revision, material, inspection plan and packaging method are controlled as the project moves into repeat supply.
What files should be included with a custom glass fabrication RFQ?
Send a dimensioned PDF drawing and a DXF, DWG, STEP, STP, IGS or IGES file when available. Include material, thickness, critical tolerances, cosmetic zones, quantity, operating conditions, cleaning, inspection and packaging requirements.
Can ANTGLASS supply coating-ready or assembly-ready glass parts?
Yes. ANTGLASS supplies finished precision glass parts with controlled edge condition, polished surfaces, ultrasonic cleaning and protective packaging for coating, bonding, sensor assembly, optical assembly and industrial equipment installation.
